Synopsis: John McClane, Bruce Willis has been removed from action for a while but he shakes the rust off quickly when the shit hits the fan and it does in the first couple of minutes. Some dude with too much time on his hands decides to destroy the United States' through hacking it! Him, along with his ridiculously hot ninja sidekick, Mia (Maggie Q), break into every level of the American security infrastructure and wreak havoc. It's now up to McClane to protect the only person capable of stopping these hacks, while waging war against an opponent who is light years ahead of him in terms of intelligence and technological savvy. But hey! there is one things those internet terrorist sonnovabitches don't have and that's the will to do whatever it takes to be THAT guy whom everyone calls a hero.
Should You Watch It? Let me break it down for you. If you are a guy read the following. If you are a girl then please skip to the bottom where it says "GIRL". So guys, this movie consists of high computer technology, explosion, gunfight, acrobatic gunfight, explosion, gunfight, traffic collisions, explosions, gunfight, car fight, explosion, car chase, explosion, F35 blowing the hell outta stuff, more explosions, gunfight.
GIRL. Okay ladies. If you watch this movie with a guy, and insist on watching it, he will be indebted to you.
Things to Watch Out For: Besides everything I've just listed, there is quite an interesting story here, sorta. Or as interesting as this film is gonna get. Justin Long plays Mattew Ferril, the hacker that McClane has to protect. Ferril goes through the biggest arc and his comic relief bits are hilarious! They're not big jokes but in the context they're freakin hilarious. You really shouldn't be expecting anything less from him anyways.
Things You Don't Expect: I did not expect Maggie Q to be in this film. And seriously, why does every Asian person, especially girls, know kung fu? I don't know one asian girl, or guy for that matter that knows kung fu! But whatever, when she straps on the ass kickin' boots and skin tight FBI uniform, you forget everything haha.
